Application Rates

• Established lawns – Apply at 50gm per square metre and water in well. Apply every 6-8 weeks throughout spring, summer and autumn. Apply Neutrog Blade Runner or Seamungus in winter.
• New lawns – Apply 100gm per square metre. If preparing soil before seeding or laying of new turf, apply Rapid Raiser or Seamungus.
• Non-flowering plants – Apply 50gm per square metre and water in well. Apply every 6-8 weeks throughout spring, summer and autumn. Apply Neutrog Blade Runner or Seamungus in winter.

Whoflungdung is absorbent, as it helps retain moisture and warmth in the garden, which improves nutrient uptake. It adds nutrients to the soil for both the beneficial bacteria and plants to feed on – significantly reducing, if not eliminating, the nitrogen draw-down issues that are associated with most other mulches.

Whoflungdung is available in compressed 20kg bales from good hardware and garden supply shops. Apply a uniform layer of Whoflungdung at 25mm to 100mm deep to cover soil, leaving 50mm to 100mm gap around base of any plants, trees or shrubs.

Each bale covers approximately 3-6m².

Calciprill is a 2 to 6 mm granulated product manufactured in Bathurst, NSW from ultra-fine particles of 100% natural calcium carbonate.  It acts as a soil conditioner, balancing pH to the optimal level, and provides calcium nutrition, which, amongst many functions, is essential for the structure and stability of cell walls.

Acid soils are a major barrier to productivity, limiting the availability and uptake of nutrients as well as damaging soil structure and biological health. Calciprill’s ultrafine particles are highly reactive, breaking down quickly in moisture to correct acidity quickly and effectively. Regular application of Calciprill at low rates will maintain optimal pH, prevent aluminium toxicity and replace calcium taken up by the previous crop. This is a more effective agronomic approach than applying large quantities of bulk lime every five or ten years.

A continuous supply of calcium is required by all crops and deficiency will result in slower root growth and damage to the tissues of developing leaves and fruit. Calciprill can be direct drilled or air seeded with lucerne, canola and cereals, to provide a readily available source of calcium during establishment and throughout the growing season.

Calciprill can be applied to either established pasture or crops at any time, using standard spreader equipment and allowing complete flexibility for the grower. The shape, size and durability of the Calciprill granules allow it to be spread accurately up to 36m, either on its own or with other inputs, without creating dust. It can also be applied by air to enable the management of pasture regardless of terrain. Calciprill is a certified organic input suitable for use in National Standard and AS 6000 organic systems.

• SSP is one of the cheapest forms of phosphate & Supplies sulphate sulphur and calcium
• The ratio of phosphorus and sulphur suits many crop and pasture needs. Both the phosphorus and sulphur are in readily available forms.

• Can be blended with other fertiliser products (except Urea & DAP). Can be stored easily for long periods, without taking up moisture.
• Contains calcium and sulphur (mostly as gypsum) and helps keep soil in good shape by maintaining soil structure. SSP provides a balance of P, S and Ca that mimics pasture growth requirements and is the best balanced P, S and Ca fertiliser for Australian pastures.

The product is a low cost source of phosphorus and sulphur in a wide range of pasture situations.
