Shoof’s own house-brand cohesive bandage. We reckon it is a top bandage at a great price. Not as stretchy or as spongy as some cohesives, making it a nice alternative and complementary bandage where not too much elasticity is an advantage. Farmhand cohesive bandage is less likely to cause circulation problems. Farmhand cohesive does not stretch and loosen during active use. We recommend stretching to full length, then relaxing by half, as it is being applied. This will ensure the bandage is properly “set” for correct tension. All bandages are 4.6m stretched length.

What is Ultimum?

A broad spectrum and long-acting horse wormer and boticide gel which contains the active ingredients moxidectin and praziquantel.
Broad spectrum. Ultimum is indicated for the control of tapeworm and all important susceptible strains of gastrointestinal roundworms, including adult and encysted stages (DL, LL3, EL4) and benzimidazoleresistant strains of small strongyles, and aids in control of early encysted stages (EL3), including inhibited larvae.
When used as directed, Ultimum is safe in foals over 4 weeks of age and in all breeding stock, including stallions and pregnant mares.
Palatable and effective gel.
Developed and made in Australia. Treats horses up to 700 kg.

Recommended For

Quarantined / New Horses: Ultimum is recommended for new horses arriving on a property with an unknown worming history. Horses that are below 2 years of age should be given 2 separate worming products i.e. Ultimum and Strategy-T, but for horses over 2 years of age treat with Ultimum or as recommended by your veterinarian.

Berg Oil is a tradional remedy reported to control excessive fermentation and decrease gastrointestinal discomfort in horses, cattle, sheep and pigs.

PRESENTATION: A dark brown, viscous bituminous liquid with a characteristic odour.

ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS:

Each 100 mL contains:
STOCKHOLM TAR   60 mL
TURPENTINE OIL   20 mL
METHYLATED SPIRITS   20 mL.

PROPERTIES: BERG OIL is a combination of wood tars, turpentine oils and methylated spirits that has been used for many years and has been reported to decrease gas production associated with fermentation.

Taken orally, BERG OIL does not irritate the mucous membranes of the mouth and the digestive tract. The actives in BERG OIL are reported to be calmative and may assist in relieving gastric discomfort. They may also help counteract the griping action of purgatives. Methylated spirits reduces the frequency of sudden muscle spasm, background spasticity with associated colic pain and functional disability caused by the excess gastrointestinal fermentation.

ADMINISTRATION: Pour the dose on the rear of the tongue and hold animal’s head raised for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the BERG OIL is swallowed. Dose may to be repeated after 2 hours if required.
